SPORTS REPORT ON INTER-COLLIGATE SPORTS MEET 2017
Our college students had participated in the inter-collegiate sports meet (Saathanaikku-Santharpam 2017) organized by K.G. College of nursing - 2017 on 21st and 22nd of November, 2017. Total 30 students had participated in the event. Mr.Jose Merlin and Ms.Padmapriya accompanied along with the students. Students were participated in multiple events such as, volley ball, throw ball, tennikoit, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw and running (100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 1500 meters & relay 400 meters). 59 colleges were participated in the inter-colligate sports meet-2017. Our college students had won the 2nd prize in volley ball competition out of 35 colleges participated in the same event.
The College has a playground and provides adequate play materials for both indoor and outdoor games. Students are encouraged to participate in sports conducted every year in the campus and also in State level events.
